The location is excellent for the families visiting Carlsbad Caverns. The only restaurant close to the hotel closes at 3pm so travelers should be prepared to drive a bit. The breakfast offered by the hotel is very basic, cereal, coffee juice and muffins. For the price, comfortable beds and clean.

Best of both worlds! We spent a day in Carlsbad, NM and a day at the Caverns and didn't have to use two motels: this is right at the entrance road to the Caverns and has a fine restaurant and gas station nearby. The manager was a delightful lady who was helpful in making our stay pleasant. Great location, great staff, great place to stay!
