I booked this for my family, who was in town for an event. I am a San Diego resident. I didn't realize a few things until after I had booked the property, albeit it was still within the cancellation window. First, that this is similar to an ADU attached to a different main house. “Lovely little cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. We arrived very late after a several hour delayed flight, so finding the right address was a little difficult in the dark. That being said, once we did locate it it was super easy to get in and the place was very cute, very clean and the perfect size for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and while it was hot outside during the day all we needed at night was the ceiling fan. Plenty of hot water, nice kitchen and very quiet peaceful front……

“Our recent stay had a bit of a hic-up at no fault of the host. When we arrived the refrigerator was not working. We contacted the host and he quickly got service technicians onsite. We ended up not having a functioning fridge for two of our three days. Host was nice enough to credit us one night of our stay. Home is clean but bathrooms are a bit dated. Kitchen and downstairs living space are very nice. Neighborhood is a bit on the lower scale, but downtown Vista is amazing. ”
