This private cottage is located minutes from downtown Carmel and conveniently located off Hwy 1 for easy access to Big Sur, Monterey and Pebble Beach. Come relax in our peaceful setting amongst the forest of Hatton Canyon. Property is set far away from the street nestled in the forested Hatton Canyon. This spacious 1 bedroom cottage and beautiful large private patio is a secluded quiet spot to relax after an active day around the Monterey Peninsula. We have thought of all the details needed to make your stay at the cottage comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and refrigerator. You will enjoy the privacy and easy access with the keyless entry. Feel safe and secure with our off street parking.

So close to plaza, 5 minute drive Forest adjacent Huge deck Birds viewed included nesting hawks, woodpeckers and songbirds Cozy & comfy Easy parking Sugar, coffee & coffee filters provided Plenty of TP& paper towel Host checked in to make sure everything was okay & see if we needed anything Would definitely recommend & stay again!

Property in need of care from front steps board loose and a tripping hazard to outdoor deck mat, pillows and turf needing replacing. Interior was fine but a mini-split w/b great for pm heat.

The place was clean and comfortable, they provide everything you will need, even bubble bath. It’s a little unusual being at the bottom of a driveway behind another house, but was private and cozy.

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean which is very important to us. The only thing I would mention is the driveway is steep and if you have a large vehicle you’d have to be very careful. We have a high profile vehicle and extra long and we did it but had to carefully maneuver around other vehicles. Besides that everything was wonderful and the host was reachable if needed.id stay there again without question.

This stay was overall amazing and very enjoyable. It is a perfect place if you will be gone most of the day! Everything was tidy and clean, everything we needed was already there. The only confusing part was getting into the door. The code was given to us but I wasn't sure how to operate the device on the door.

Check-in was ok - just used the passcode for the door. No towels in bathroom I think the bed in the bedroom was possibly a double bed..or maybe a small queen Location was ok but thought it was much CLOSER to Carmel Plaza - You CANNOT walk to Carmel - The last thing & why did not stay was the thermostat was 85 degrees. And no A/C. I cannot sleep at night with that temp.
