「Lovely old building, well located and enough parking at the back of hotel in side street. Comfortable bed, room was well maintained, especially the bathroom. Room was spacious enough for one person.」

「Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. The shower room window had clear glass & faced the car park with only a blind for privacy. Last time we stayed we were in a larger quieter Lapwing room which for us was better. Breakfast was very good food & service. All staff attentive, willing & helpful. Would stay again but aim for Lapwing upgrade.」

「Had a lovely time at Cross cottage. It was a lovely quiet location but only 5 min drive to Kirkby Lonsdale for restaurants pubs and shops. Great for all the Yorkshire dales hills and villages. Garden to the cottage was well maintained and relaxing. Good Wi-Fi and free sat too. Shower was super powerful . Always a bonus. Only improvement would be curtains over French doors now the darker nights are coming back for added privacy and cosy feel. Would definitely book again n this cottage and this...
