Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 6th year renting Sol Shine. It is a great beach house for our family and ample seating for everyone. The house is fully equipped and everything in working order. We enjoy the spacious outside shower, the grill, and great deck.. We also appreciate that it is dog friendly for our well-behaved dog. We plan on renting it again next year. Thank you to owners for maintaining a welcoming beach house.

Great Location and Space to Relax

Easy check-in and great location near Carolina Beach boardwalk, shopping, and restaurants. Clean house, a few steps to the sand and ocean, and great relaxing on the back deck with a coffee!

Spring Break Stay

This location couldn’t be better. The kitchen and family room had a beautiful view of the ocean. The home also had a deck with a private walkway to the beach, so it’s really a great house for a family vacation. We had a great time!

Family Vacay

The house was absolutely perfect for our family stay. Being right on the beach is priceless with children ages 2 & 3. The sunrise views in the morning are beautiful & gets your day started on the right foot. Very centrally located - went to the aquarium one morning (10 minutes away), ice cream right across the street, Tiki Bar a few houses down & Publix one mile away. Love the retro feel of Carolina Beach & watched the surfers every day!

Amazing place! I was impressed with the property. Unfortunately, the outside water did not work and there were lights that did not work but overall this place worked perfectly! Gorgeous view, convenient, clean, comfortable beds, clean, private. Would stay again.

Perfect for Girls Weekend

Everything about this house was just right for our group of 5. The only complaints we had were that the lock box for the key was a bit difficult to open and the showers are really small. But location was perfect and overall property was very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful ocean front house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only reason for the one 4-star was that I felt during the off-season a fresh coat of paint and some very minor upgrades could have been completed. But that won't stop me from returning!

Wonderful Beach Home At A Great Location

I have been renting homes in Carolina Beach for years and this was our favorite! It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We made most meals in the well appointed kitchen and loved having the beach only steps away. We traveled with 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids and 2 dogs, and the layout of the house was ideal. We gave my teen nephews the downstairs apartment and they could not have been happier. We will definitely be staying at Sol-Shine again!
