Hate to leave!

Overall, very enjoyable trip! Beautiful clean home, great layout for large families. Nice backyard. All the amenities you need. Short walk to beach.

Beach vacation

Our family beach trip was fun and relaxing. The house had plenty of room and I especially loved the multiple porches. The kitchen was stocked and open and easy to move around in. We really enjoyed the downstairs with the games and the many beach accessories. My grandson learned to use the skim board!

Excellent accommodations

This was by far the nicest cottage we have stayed at. We have been going to the North Carolina coast since my kids were young and now we come with their kids. Previously we stayed at Topsail Island this trip we decided to give Carolina Beach a try. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next beach vacation.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. Everyone was very happy with the appearance of the house and the amenities that were provided. It was nice not having to worry about packing certain things because you knew they were already provided at the home. The proximity of the house to the beach access was very nice, especially with taking smaller children. Just a two minute walk. It really was a great stay, and we would highly recommend this home.

Spring Break 2024

The house was very clean and well equipped. It was perfect for our extended family, ages ranging from 13 to 76. We loved the location to the beach. Big plus having beach chairs, beach towels and a beach wagon. They thought of everything! It was also nice to have towels and linens provided with beds made on arrival. The kids loved using the bikes as well.

Spring Break at the Beach

Amazing luxury home in an amazing location. Could see the ocean from the porch, just steps to the beach. Home was nicely decorated, super comfortable beds, and plenty of room for our group of 10. My favorite part was sitting in the porch, feeling the ocean breeze and watching people go by. Excellent kitchen for preparing large meals.

The owners was attentive and timely with her instructions. The HOA rules weren’t shared ahead of time so there was one little thing but overall a very good stay.

We really loved that the home was so close to the beach. It made our beach time very easy and convenient. The home was spacious for our group of 12. I liked the upstairs area for our 3 teenagers. The yard was great for lawn games like cornhole.

Beautiful beach getaway

This house is the perfect location with everything you need for a family getaway. Spacious, clean, and super cute. Felt like home! So close to the beach that you could hear the waves crash at night as if you were ocean front. Very accommodating for a group of 10 between the ages of 2 and 70. Would highly recommend. Everything was very updated inside and out, just like the pictures. Great choice!

Excellent Property

This property is a steal! It was recently renovated and furnished in a way that makes me want the owners to design my own home, very upscale but comfortable and livable. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our family gathering. I'm normally cautious about using dishes from my VRBO because I'm a germaphobe, but everything was clean and obviously we'll cared for. And the management company was immediately responsive, even when we had a question during our late night check in. 10/10, will stay again.

Steps from the beach

Nice home, the upstairs was a perfect suite for our college age guys to have a space to hang out and play video games. The beds were comfortable. Nice porch with ocean view. A couple things to note: bring Kerig pods as the drip element of the coffee maker doesn’t work. The Kerig side does. Also, this is suppose to be a pet free home but there was evidence of a pet presence which triggered our allergies.

My dream come true

After 7 years, we earned a work sabbatical and eagerly looked forward to relaxing at Carolina beach. The Salty Dream met all our expectations and more. The house was clean, the renovations were lovely, and the beds were new and very comfortable. The house was fully stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, games, and even a wagon to carry the supplies to the beach. It was a quick walk to the beach and still gave the gorgeous breeze on the front porch. There was plenty of space to spread out and the kids loved the upstairs gaming setup for chill afternoons after a day in the sun. It was truly the best stay we've had at a beach house, and with activities at the boardwalk and shopping and restaurants close by it was a perfect mix of peace and quiet and options for activities. Top your stay off with some fresh Britt's donuts and it really did feel like a dream. The kids are already plotting how to come back 😁

Great house!

We loved this house! The house is just like the pictures. The location is great and close walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. My family enjoyed the beach toys, chairs. We also enjoyed the dart board. We had plenty of room to spread around. The bathroom towels are very worn and could use a refresh. We also had a problem with the upstairs air conditioner. It gets very hot during the day but does cool off again for sleeping at night. We did call about that and were told to turn it down and see if that helps it cool off. Not really a solution. Since it cooled back down at night we tolerated it. We didn’t want to spend all our vacation waiting for someone to call or come by. But it really should be checked out further. We also had a problem with one of the toilets but that problem was resolved within a few hours. Despite those difficulties we had a great week and a beautiful house. We would visit again!

The home has many extras to ensure a comfortable stay. Great location and close to the beach. I loved that the home had everything needed for a fun beach day. It had a cooler, wagons, beach toys and so much more. The beds were comfy and very clean.

Great location. Roomy house, sweet decor, well-equipped.

Kitchen was well-equipped. Really appreciate the little touches, such as board games in the cabinet, plenty of beach towel, chairs, and boogie boards. Very convenient to beach across the street. Nice balconies of the front and the back. Worked great for our family of 8.
