Beach Get Away
It was the perfect beach retreat for our old gals college reunion. Perfect view, steps from the beach, comfy beds and linens and everything you could need. Space was well designed for the size. Wonderfully located with walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Charming little town! Hope to return some day. Highly reccommend.

A most excellent Condo to Stay at. Overlooking the Beach. Sunset Central facing north west. Just so beautiful. We even saw two Falcon 9 Rockets 🚀 Launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base track straight down the Coast from Our Beach Front Glass sliding Door.

Perfect Stay
From start to finish this VRBO experience with Casago was fantastic. We know the Carpinteria very well and have stayed several places. Over the years. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting a perfect location and a fantastic view right from their balcony.

Océan waves lull you to sleep
Wonderful property with the ocean at your backyard! Enjoyed our stay in this well maintained condo. The building has great facilities and in a great walkable neighborhood. Easy access to beach. Appreciate the much needed tar wipes. A must have if you plan to walk barefoot on the beach. Naturally occurring tar comes off easily with the wipes. Unit has a number of beach chairs and umbrellas.

Beautiful beachfront condo
We had a wonderful time at this beautifully renovated condo. It’s very comfortable and practical. Worked perfectly for our family trip with a 3 & 1 year old. The kitchen is fully stocked and every thing you need is walking distance. We can’t wait to return next summer!

If your fond of sand dunes and salty air
This little apartment was just perfect for a quick get away. It’s light, airy and just steps from the beach. The beds are comfortable and the oceans is like a lullaby. You will be relaxed when you leave and a little sorry you can’t stay longer.

Weekend getaway
Our first time to Carpinteria and our stay was absolutely wonderful. We loved the condo and its ideal location on the beach, and the town was so great and chill. Will definitely return!

Too good to be true!
I hesitate to even write such a glowing review because I want this place to be available for us next time! From the second we walked in the door we knew we were in for a good week. Checking in couldn’t have been easier and the communication with the management team was seamless. The place is decorated beautifully but also kid friendly. I wasn’t worried that my toddler was going to break something or hurt herself. The beds were super comfortable, everyone got amazing sleep - it doesn’t hurt that the actual ocean is the background noise. The neighbors in the surrounding units (rentals too) were all so friendly and respectful, it felt like a community if only for a few days. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Carpenteria City Beach
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property, the property was furnished with the nice balance of comfort and looks. It was clean and the furniture was comfy as a home. The balcony is literally 12 feet from the sand and the ocean breeze goes all the way through the property when you crack the bedroom windows open keeping the interior so fresh and relaxing. We watched all the beach fireworks from the balcony on July 4th. The king size bed was very comfortable memory foam, i slept like a big o'l baby. We will assuredly stay here again.

Well, our grandchildren who were staying in the property below us were helping Ken and I with luggage, and when we opened the door they then decided to stray with us instead of with their parents......LOL It was beautifully BEACHY and after loosing our home to a fire, my pantry and laundry room became my happy place for sanity and hope with using the same colors as this home was decorated with. Need I say anything else ~ WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT AND WILL BE BACK WITH STAYING EVEN LONGER.....maybe 1 or 2 grandchildren joining us! Blessings Ken and Kathleen

Great if you want beach access right out front door
The place was nice. Few disappointments that there is not sufficient bedding. Zero comforters and you have to use blankets on all beds. Very odd to me that you don’t have proper bedding. Also, woke up to mice/rat droppings all over the kitchen sink and countertops. Apparently rats are a problem under the decks on the first floor, learned that from someone who lives there. Emailed about the issue and was sent a thanks for letting us know and someone will follow up but no one ever did.

We quickly notified the onsite manager and had the pest control company in the condo the same day. The issue has since been resolved. It's good to know about this issue, as we will put extra verbiage in our house manual on the importance of keeping screen doors closed, especially at dusk when nocturnal critters become active. Darling unit with spectacular beach views
Everyone was super responsive and helpful. Special mention to Debra- mgr and Beto. Didn't even sleep in the bedroom, as it was just me most of the time. Slept on the comfy couch with the sound of crashing waves pulling me to sleep. Kitchen cabinets and counters are a bit dated, but mgr told me owners are updating it this winter. Would definitely Stay again!

Best view in town
This condo is right on the beach with the best view in town. The beds are soft and comfortable, it has a great shower and a nice size kitchen. This is my second stay at this property and I can’t wait to come back again.

A Gem
Carpinteria is a such a gem. We have been renting at Carp Shores since the 80s and we continue to return with me own kiddos and family 35 years later. This unit has been renovated and was well supplied with quality kitchen amenities. Kids bedroom was perfect and the space was streamlined and fresh. My only recommendation would be to remodel the kitchen in the near future and include an updated refrigerator. The filter water tap at the sink was also a plus. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Location!
We spent Labor Day weekend here, family of 4. The location is perfect! You can’t beat just being steps to the beach. The condo has everything you need and is updated, except the kitchen. Everyone we met there was super friendly and the town is a short walk to some great restaurants. Only downfall, is that we visited during a heat wave, upper 80’s to 90’s and the condo did get really hot. No AC and no fan in the living room. It cooled down a lot at night, but not enough to cool the condo. The addition of a fan in the living room would help move the cooler nighttime air. Other than this, we will visit again! This is our first time at this specific condo, but second yearly visit to Carpenteria Shores.

We needed to find some place that would be close to my moms service. I was pleased with the proximity to everything I needed and of course the beach view was amazing. *one request would be to fix the sliding screen door to the balcony. It was difficult to open especially when you have arthritis in your hands like I do.

Carp 2022 Review
Great week in Carpinteria. Stayed in a handful of different places in Carp over the years, this was by far the best. Great, great, great location. Nice patio, recently renovated unit. Already talking sbout possibly renting again next July.

The property couldn’t be more beautiful. You are literally right on the sand and the ocean is 100ft.
Overall we loved renting this property and would do it again in a heartbeat. So tranquil and relaxing. The furniture is comfortable and the place is very clean. The kitchen has everything you need to make a nice meal. Would love to stay here again soon.

First things first..... we'll DEFINITELY be back! The location couldn't be better, right on Carpinteria State beach. Opened the sliding glass door and listen to the ocean first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Almost impossible to not relax. Unit is not large, but there are multiple, modern upgrades. Plenty of outlets, well-stocked kitchen and cool lights. The only minor issue we had was when the water was shut off. Turns out they were doing some work on the shower in the adjacent unit, but no one let us know the water was going to be turned off. There was no on-site manager (the office was basically closed 3 of the 4 days we were there) and when I called the rental company, it took awhile for them to get back with an update. Meanwhile, I talked to the worker next door and he turned the water back on. Thirty minutes after that we got two calls saying that the water would be back on in about 30 minutes. I informed them it was already on -- they didn't know. Again, this is a GREAT unit.

Beautiful patio view overlooking the ocean. Calm beach with plenty of sand and walking in either direction. Great beach for kids. Easy check in, promot communication with property manager when we needed some more soap. Kitchen is stocked with sufficient pans & utensils to cook, but many restaurants with walking distance as well. Comfortable beds and cute decor.

Comfortable little place with an amazing ocean view. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen provided everything you could possibly need (minus the food) to cook or heat up leftovers. Even a huge crockpot. Keurig was a Godsend. Kitchen was older, but serviceable. Bathroom has been updated. We spent most of our time out on the balcony enjoying the gorgeous view. Patio table and chairs were very comfortable. Elevator and luggage carts provided easy transfer of our personal belongings to and from the condo. Parking was convenient. Condo was close to everything in Carpinteria. We’ll definitely be back!

A great location. You couldn't get any closer to the Pacific. The furniture is well worn, but comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced. Loved the elevator. Overall, there is everything that you need in the condo and you can walk to shops and restaurants.
