Peaceful spot for a quiet coastal getaway

Sunshine Haven was a really sweet place for a low key getaway. That bathroom with what is now aspirational lighting for any future bathroom upgrades in my own home! The house was comfortable and well appointed and the owners clearly care about it.

2 issues arose. 1) we could not get into the property as the wrong key was left in the box . We finally got the manager to get us where the back up key was took additional45 minutes 2) the internet was almost non existent. We could not watch any tv programs or movies. Laptopsandand iPads

Cleanliness and wifi

There is no WiFi as advertised. We contacted guest services on day one about it and they asked that we reset the modem but there was no modem, only one booster. When that didn’t work they said they would send one of their local team members out to fix the problem but no one ever called or came by to fix the problem. There was dog food still on the floor from the previous renter and the stove was not wiped off along with some stains on the white down comfort and lots of yellow stains on mattress protector. Other than that it is a very convenient place to stay in regards to the walk to the bay

Great stay!

Our unit was very clean, very comfortable and nicely furnished and also surprisingly quiet. I had an issue getting the digital lock to work, but the property owner had someone at our unit in less than five minutes to help.

Cute Little Getaway!

I have nothing but high praises for this property. It was bright and greeted you as soon as you come around the corner. The interior was immaculate and we had virtually no issues with our stay. The bathroom with both a soaking tub and large shower… I LOVED it! When we arrived, the main interior door knob was previously loosened which made closing the door near impossible. I reached out to Vacasa as soon as I noticed it, and quite literally, had a solution in place within 30 minutes. A complete resolution was reached the next day when they came by to fix it. All the while updating me via text and phone the whole time. That was amazing! Needless to say, it was our little home away from home for a few days and we enjoyed ourselves so much. Thank you for having such a unique property! We loved our stay.

Perfect couples rental

This home has a huge bedroom and a luxury bathroom. The high ceilings add to the spaciousness. We loved the location, a quick trip to Appalalchicola for shopping and great fresh seafood and, of course, to St. George Island for the beautiful beach! Carabelle beach is right next door, for a more low key, nature vibe. Our pup loved the early AM walks in the beach.

This place is definitely 5 stars. Sunshine Haven had everything we needed for our trip. One of the best features in this home is the BATHTUB/bathroom. The close access to the beach was a plus also. If we ever come back to Carrabelle we will be looking to stay here again.
