「The location was great, both for views and for convenience. The facilities were good, onsite parking was easy, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all, our hostess Noreen was cordial, helpful and kind. She wrote out directions to the national park, answered our questions, and had cookies ready for our arrival. Breakfast was excellant and set you up for the day ahead. We only used the bar on our first night for an evening meal. The food was very good and the Guinness hit the spot. It mentions there is a bar at the hotel. There is no bar. What it means is there is a room where you can bring your own beer/wine that you’ve bought elsewhere. 「Supposed to be a 4 star hotel but a number of issues imo. Only one lift for a large hotel seems poor. You need to drop off your bags from the car at the entrance as otherwise there are steps to negotiate from the car park. The bar restaurant is frankly very poor in terms of noise and quality of food which arrived so quickly that it was obviously not freshly cooked and was pretty tasteless.
