「We loved the quirky "olden day" cabins and yet they were so beautiful and classy inside. For staying in a cabin where we had to use the shared kitchen and bathrooms, I was nervous about the cleanliness and I was amazed at how clean everything was. Everything was easy to use, no confusion. Our kettle didnt want to open in our cabin and it was quickly replaced by another. Lovely playground and tennis courts basically on the premises and easy short walk to the main street through Greytown!...

「Clean and tidy house. Lovely location really close to Martinborough. Might be a bit cold in winter because it’s so huge, but there are two open fires as well as heaters, and wood provided so could be nice and cozy too once fired up. Hot tub is an inflatable one and smallish, but still lovely to have. 」

「It was our second time staying at The Stables, this time it was during the time period that we could light the fire. It was cozy, relaxing and warmed the house so nicely. We will definatly be back again. Its such a magical place to stay.」

「Clean and cozy 」

「A relaxing vibe. It was hot so a lot of time was spent in the pool. The kids were easy to watch, and didn’t want to go anywhere else. The dog loved it. The supermarket was close and the BBQ was used each night. The wisteria provided shade and the stars were glorious. 5/5 from us. Thanks for sharing your magical place - much appreciated 」

「Great 」

「Very cozy winter escape at this lovely cottage above the wairarapa plain. Very comfortable and generously provsioned」

「It was the perfect house for us. I stayed there with my three school-age grandkids. There were lots of games, activities and bikes etc for them and plenty of room to spread out. We initially had a problem with the TV but the owner, who lives nearby, promptly came and fixed it. Great Service!!」

「Great spot and house layout made it perfect for us, two bedrooms had common spaces between so we’re able to share but also have own space. Nice deck to hang out on and great to have two AC units as we lucked in with really hot days and nights during our stay. 」

「We had an absolutely amazing stay! The accommodation was perfect for our group of 8 friends and our dog — spacious, clean, and super cozy. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. The common areas were great for hanging out together, and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space too. The dog loved it just as much as we did — lots of room to play and explore!」
