“If you love nature, you will love The Canopy! We spotted a platypus on the first day and a cassowary on our way out! The birds are beautiful and the turtles plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful. They even built a fire for us on a cool day. Loved every minute of our time there. ”

“Wonderful place to retreat for a few days with beautiful walks on the property through tropical forest. If you like nature and seclusion this is the place for you. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable with all the amenaties needed for self catering. There is however, no Wifi access in the room and telephone coverage is poor; so I would not recomend this for someone who needs to stay connected. Otherwise, no complaints and an enjoyable stay.”

“We stayed at a Canopy treehouse that had a great view of the farmland below. The fireplace is handy on cold nights and sunrise was picturesque from the balcony. Breakfast provisions were ample and we enjoyed our beef and reef dinner package too. Overall it was an excellent stay”

“A really lovely property with absolutely delightful hosts. We had a 2 bedroom townhouse near the pool. Parking was downstairs and really only suited a small car (ours poked out the front). Well stocked kitchen, lots of accessories and wine glasses! Would be nice to have a few larger drinking glasses available. Main bedroom had lovely view of the Lake. Other bedroom overlooked the pool, unfortunately the mattress was like concrete, time for an upgrade perhaps. Screens throughout meant lovely……

“Clean, comfortable, quite, spacious, well provisioned. Just a short walk across the park to the shops and restaurants. One word of warning, very little is open in town on Tuesday.”

“The ground floor unit is beneath the main accommodation which is like a big house and so the noise upstairs can be an issue. We were lucky there were no families with children upstairs. The kitchen is well appointed and very clean. The living room space is quite adequate for 2 people. But the bedroom is a let-down - only one bed lamp on the one bedside table. Are we to read turnabout? The mattress is a shocker and we slept top and toe to avoid the roll-in to the middle. I felt mislead as the……

“We had a wonderful time staying here. The apartment was perfectly located for the right balance of quiet and easy access to activities for our young children. Plenty of space in the rooms. Highly recommend to other couples or families wanting to get away for a bit.”

“The location and size of the house was excellent. With the price of the property one would expect the following Free wifi, access to a washing machine and dryer free of charge plus bath towels and hand towels to be provided. Also similar properties would provide soap and shampoo Another opportunity for improvement would be enough cutlery, plates etc for a bed occupancy of 9. Furthermore pool towels could be made available for hire. Travelling from interstate by air one does not expect to bring……

“No code for check in was sent. we had to ask another guest for a number to contact the property manager as the number given through the website says it's disconnected. Eventually we were able to retrieve keys at nearly 3pm. The driveway upto the property is dirt and in extremely bad condition, not suitable for small hire cars! This was not stated on website! Bathroom didn't accomodate the 3 of us who were staying there with linen and toiletries. The pool/spa was heated beautifully but the spa……
