“Nightmare booking. Travelers beware. The "parking" is just someone elses driveway on the side of the highway. You need to walk along the side of a poorly lit road to get to the access door, and then its a 10min hike up the hill to your eventual accomodation. When we finally made it to our Starbox, the rooms were not properly sealed so there were bugs all over the pillows/bed when we opened the door. Absolutely not an acceptable condition for anyone to stay in.When this was mentioned to the host,……

“We felt..special. The land, sea, rolling green hills, church bells, birds; a true haven of quiet retreat. Exceptional morning buffet! Transportation & communication impeccable. Accommodations very lovely. A special thanks to Anita (sp?) for bringing the family history and sculptures/art alive! And Pier (?), we selected one of your recommendations, Osteria Tumelin, for our farewell seafood lunch. Bravo! We’ll be back & will recommend you!”

“Mini paradise! Wonderful room, we loved being on the garden level, super clean, views forever……. Infinity pool with even more incredible views. Restaurant was superb — we ate there all three nights of our stay. Location - perfect, close to both Levanto and bonosolla. (?). We were tired of the crowds at Chico Terra, and all the tourist shops, Yvonne at least gave us a different experience, and this hotel was perfectly situated. You do need a car though. Again, a little slice of heaven for us.”
