The resort was absolutely beautiful. I was able to see a few different rooms… they were very nice. The room that I was in was in need of updated decor but it was clean.

We love the location. It was like a finding a hidden gem in the middle of the Atlanta area. I didn't feel like we were close to the city at all.

Our condo was had a wonderful view but was very dated. The ceiling had several very visible areas of water damage, the toilet in the master bath reminded me of a toilet for a child rather than adults and the closet in the living room area was totally covered with dirt from constant dusting but no cleaning.

The bed was by far the worst I have ever slept on. You could feel the springs and just uncomfortably hard. The floors were all sticky like something had been spilled and not cleaned up properly.

The villa was beautiful and clean but the sofa needs to be updated when i sat iin the sofa iwent all the way down and the dryer needed to be fix made alot of noise . The beach was full of Canadian geese poop. We had to go bk to t pool which was decent but no towels .

Very disappointed in this unit.

We chose to stay here for a 4 night stay for my wife to recover from a hospital procedure thinking it would be more comfortable than a hotel. Wrong. It needs to be updated badly. Dark and gloomy. The sofa and chair cushions were so worn out you hit bottom when you sat down. The beds were comfortable. The unit very clean. Just very dated. Had a decent view of part of the lake. Near the marina and restaurant. The food at the restaurant was excellent! Food and adult drinks were outstanding.Wish it was open for breakfast. We left a day early due to sofa and chair issue. Fairfield Plantation needs to consider updating and landscaping area around Tara units.

The unit we stayed in was nice and spacious. The living room furniture was outdated and the king size bed a little hard for my taste. Screened poarch awesome. I wised we could have utilized it more. The best thing about the getaway was the peace and quietness This was my 3rd time staying at this property. Its a short drive from home and the pricing is good. I will come again.

WOW in love with this place!!!

Our stay was so relaxing. Was a little worried about the name "plantation" but turns out to be amazing. Jacuzzi tub was sheer icing on the cake. The view is so beautiful. Coming from california, the Lake was 10 steps from the back patio. will only stay here when visiting GA

After driving eight hours to get there, we found 2-inch cockroaches crawling around and into cracks in the walls and ceiling. As such, we were forced to pay for a hotel for two nights and nobody from the resort has returned my call yet. Very disappointed and I expect a refund.

The halfs and the half nots experience...

It was an pleasant experience.. we actually extended our stay for another week..checking in / restay with Tammy ( clerk) was exemptional... The only hiccup that deterred me from extending my stay at the Lake Tara II, was the oriental rug in the living room . It was very dirty and stained tremendously. There was a mini iron, and a whole in the master bedroom from a previous leakage...However The Tara Garden with cottage on the other hand was better... besides not having a iron at all and when I called to request one we'd never received it .🙃

Beautiful Scenery

The unit is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. Right on the lake, clean etc. The beds were literally hard as the floor. My arm and leg would fall asleep from laying on my side. It was unbearable. The shower heads were impossible to shower with. We literally couldn’t barely get soap off our bodies. Otherwise it was beautiful.

Excellent lake views

We stayed in the Tara Villas with the lake view. It was an excellent view with big windows all along the back to see the lake. The big screened in porch was outstanding. Every room in the villa was great. It was quiet, felt very safe, and had many things to do on site. No boat/jet ski rentals on the lake. Wifi was very poor.
