Peaceful Getaway with 100 Feet of Private Beachfront Access on Lake Huron
10/10 Excellent
"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property. We love it! It is the perfect place to truly unwind from a busy life. The beach is lovely, and the water is warm in July. We absolutely love looking at all the Petoskey and Charlevoix stones. I would recommend water shoes, if you are going on long walks or in the water to swim due to the stones that wash in at the shoreline. The neighbors are quietly friendly and George is a wonderful host. Nearby Lexington and Port Sanilac have cute restaurants, shops, and Farmer's Markets. The last two times we have stayed there, we had a double rainbow that started straight out from the house and ended at the southern point. Pretty amazing site!"
"Not a golfer , but it was quiet and a step away from a regular hotel , and it was just as nice , the restaurant across from the check in desk the food was delicious , and such a great staff from the front desk to the restaurant"

"We stayed at this property to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home—it was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. With 30 of us (including small, co-sleeping toddlers, approved in advance by House Management), this home provided the ideal blend of space, privacy, and gathering areas. As the family coordinator for this trip, I wanted to offer future renters some helpful details that aren’t included in the standard listing. From the front, the property features two main entrances and is essentially designed as two connected townhomes. Each side mirrors the other with identical layouts. In front of each entrance are two designated parking spaces, and just across the street is a gravel lot with free additional parking. There are 4 total levels to the home, and 10 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. There are 6 half bathrooms, with 2 located on the main, and 2 each on the lower and loft areas of the home.Bedrooms:Main Level: (2) King bedroomsLower Level: (2) King bedrooms w/ walkout access to the outdoor space, (1 per side)Third Level: (6) Queen bedrooms, (3 per side)Fourth level: No bedrooms, just a half bathroom, wetbar and access to a private balcony that faces the lake.Kitchens:There are 4 fully stocked kitchens. Two on the main level and 2 on each lower level leading to the outdoor space. Out back there's a gas grill and flat top grill.Overall this space is perfect! I highly recommend it!"
"Beatiful little cottage so close to lake Huron. We were able able to conoe, fish, and swim. Then after we sat around the fire by the cottage and had some great laughs. Very comfortable conditions on the inside. Highly recommend!!"
"We loved every part of our stay at Castleview Cove! The home was beautiful and MiCasa was so amazing to us! Answering any questions I had and great with response time! The hot tub was one of our favorite parts. You could easily have 5 people in and it was ready for us when we arrived. We weren’t able to figure out how to connect to the Bluetooth, but it did show you could connect and play music to it. The home was so clean and a real treat to explore. And the most amazing views of the lake and sunrise each day. We enjoyed bonfires on the beach, making s’mores, skipping rocks, and if it had been warmer, we would have enjoyed paddle boarding or kayaking since they were available to use. The area was so quiet and peaceful, so we never wanted to leave. The drive to a local grocery was a bit long, but we didn’t mind. We traveled about 25 minutes to Walmart in Sandusky for all our needs. The only draw back was the limited cell service and the Internet didn't quite reach the apartment area in the back of the house. Maybe an extender could be put in?We will definitely be staying here again if it’s available. And we can’t wait to see the finished pool that’s being put in!!! Thank you MiCasa for your hospitality!!! "
