Before booking this property, because of an issue last year, I contacted Resort Management who were managing the property, to ask if there were any building works scheduled during our stay. Clearly they made no enquiries but responded that there weren’t any they were aware of
The property is opposite a building site and on day 2 of our stay building began. Incredibly loud, diggers, screeching of machinery. We spoke to the builder who told us the community had been appropriately briefed, all the local residents aware
We were offered another property about a mile from the centre, lovely but not what we wanted or would have booked, and after 4 days we moved. 4 days of construction noise, very close up
Resort Management eventually refunded us a single nights stay fees. Our holiday was ruined, it made me very unwell. We wouldn’t return to this resort and Resort Management are not interested in their clients, the property owners almost certainly knew what was planned and they just wanted the cash. Sickening
