It has a fully equipped kitchen and lounge/diner and patio doors that lead onto the south-facing balcony, which hosts a large dining table that looks out onto fields and the beautiful hills of Calblanque National Park.
Mar de Cristal offers a well-stocked and friendly local supermarket, and easy access to the popular tennis centre and sailing school. There are several bars and restaurants in the surrounding area and many more restaurants and supermarkets about a ten-minute drive towards the pretty lighthouse harbour village of Cabo de Palos.
The best kept secret of the area is the unspoilt natural beaches which are surrounded by the wonderful Calblanque National park which offers walks, treks and protected flora and fauna. These natural beaches are popular in the summer and can be accessed by a very reasonably priced and regular park drive bus service but in spring and autumn, you can drive there yourself (holders of disabled badges can access the area by car at all times of the year).
This comfortable apartment (with access to a large communal swimming pool and children's paddling area) is a great base from which to visit a range of golf courses and the colourful historic port city of Cartagena (a 30-minute drive approx).
