Great spot to explore the square

We really enjoyed staying here! Right off the square which has everything for a vacation: shopping, restaurants, civil war museum, beautiful courthouse. We'll be back as we discovered there's much more to do in Carthage.

Wonderful Getaway!

We absolutely love staying here! This was our third stay! We stayed at this property on our wedding night and have decided to come back every year since for our anniversary. I’ve stayed with hosts Dave and Carissa a few times in the past five years. The studio and the loft are both amazing properties. This is the perfect location when I visit family and the Route 66 connection is so much fun. I highly recommend this historic property and the wonderful hosts who share it.

Such a Fun Place

I LOVED sleeping in the loft! The bed was so comfortable and I slept so well. The place is so quaint and comfortable. I really enjoyed the fact that I could walk everywhere. It’s right next to the historic town square and close to many restaurants. I loved walking around the town.

Amazing quiet location

Place is always immaculate, clean, tidy, feels like home away from home. Talked to the owners the first time we stayed in person while they were renovating the 3rd place they own (next door to the one we rented) amazing people, great location, and you cannot beat the price. Sadly it will be the last time we stay since my fiancée is graduating but if we ever find ourselves in the area again we will be staying the night here! Cannot recommend enough! Thank you guys again!
