"I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I had hoped for such a special occasion. One of the main reasons I chose this property was for its on-site dining and bar options, which were advertised as key amenities. I was really looking forward to a convenient, relaxing celebration without having to leave the hotel. However, upon arrival, I discovered that all of the hotel’s bars and restaurants were closed due to a private kosher event—and there had been no prior notice given to guests. This was incredibly disappointing, especially given the reason for our stay. What was supposed to be a special, stress-free birthday celebration quickly turned into a scramble to find last-minute dining options elsewhere. This lack of communication was both frustrating and inconvenient. After a long day, the last thing we wanted to do was leave the hotel to search for food and drinks. It completely disrupted the plans I had in mind for celebrating my boyfriend. While I respect the hotel’s decision to host private events and accommodate specific dietary or cultural needs, it should not come at the expense of other guests’ experiences—especially without any advance warning.
