「My stay coincided with a serious winter storm that hit the area the first night. I woke up to piles of snow covering the landscape, my car, the driveway and the roads. Luckily the house had a generator that kicked in when the power went out and the host also had a snow plow to clear out the driveway. Entertainment was provided by the birds feeding on top of the snow. I drank hot chocolate and coffee and enjoyed nestling in the apartment.」

「I grew up in the area and was looking for a spot near family but still convenient to all our favorite spots, the Southern Maine Shore points and Conway New Hampshire and the White Mountains. This fit the bill and we enjoyed our time. You will be driving down a dirt road, but it is well maintained. The property is comfortable and clean, the views are great, and the hosts are awesome!
