Family Easter
It was a great place for us to stay! My two grown children, their spouses, and grandchild joined us! We were able to enjoy family and friends, shopped in Casey, children’s museum in Terre Haute, family dinner cookout on Saturday and Easter egg hunt on Sunday! All at various places. My granddaughter loved being able to walk to the playground. Met Tammy and she is a jewel!

First Visit to Casey
Our group came in to see the Big Things in town. Had a great time. Loved the house and location with Park across the street. Sat on front porch and enjoyed the sound of the fountain in the Park. Very relaxing weekend.

Home Away From Home
We were only here for an overnight on our way across the country, but the house was fantastic! The kitchen was beautiful, and the whole house was so comfy & cozy - we felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Lisa is a wonderful host, and communication was clear & prompt. It was an easy walk to see all of the Big Things & have dinner in town. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Quick trip to see all the big things...
We stayed here for a night to explore all the big things. Staying at Lisa's place made this quick little trip so special, and honestly more fun. The minute we pulled up we were so pleased. The interior was very clean, and decorated very well. The park across the street is so nice, and the porch out front is too cute. We rented the golf cart, and it was well worth it. Cruising the town in the cart was the best. I highly recommend staying here!!

Quick stay in Casey
We stopped in for 1 day. The town of Casey is fun. This property is only about a 10 min walk from main street and directly adjacent to a great park. The house has easy parking, a nice front porch, spacious kitchen and living room, and a 3 really nice bedrooms.

We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed sitting on the front porch visiting witlh family as the weather was nice. Being near the park is good too for walking kids yo playground or when events are going on. We had a great stay.

Cottage was clean and attractive. Great location. Golf cart was a big hit with getting around to see The Big Things. Only slight downside did not see text to start sheets in laundry and run dishwasher until we were checking out. A check out sheet would have been helpful. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Visited Casey, IL for sister &Mom get away and this cottage was perfect. Centrally located, walking distance to the park. Unit was clean and comfortable. The soaking tub was lovely! Would recommend.

Exceptional Property and Owner
The owner, Lisa, made the entire process easy with her prompt and accurate communication. The house is recently remodeled and was perfect. My family of 6 was comfortable in the 3 BR 2 BA. The house is across the street from a quiet park, but is close enough to downtown to enjoy a tour of all the big things in the small town. Overall, we’d put this in the top 3 of all our VRBO stays thanks to our experience with Lisa and the quality of the house.

Cottage by the Park
From the moment we walked through the door at 500 East Monroe Ave we felt the warmth of this home. We were immediately at ease, as if it had been an old friend welcoming us back home. Thank you for every little nuance of this rental to make a warm and welcoming place to stay. At every turn there is a saying or sign about Family, Friends and Togetherness!!
