"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. "The apartment is located close in to the beautiful old area of Cefalu so you are walking distance to everything (the Rock, the Duomo, Cinema Paradisio, etc.)! Giuseppe and Mima are wonderful hosts and made our stay wonderful."

"The interior of the villa is rustic with a very welcoming wood burning fireplace which was tended by the caretaker morning and night. There were two fully equipped kitchens, one inside and one outside. There were plenty of dishes and utensils for large group of people. We stayed in April and our pool was heated, we enjoyed swimming even though it was cool weather. Location is very nice. 3 very good restaurants in walking distance. We were going to Cefalu quite often for lunch/dinner and beach. Huge backyard for kids to run around and play structures. 2 large outdoor tables for alfresco eating."

"Pros: From the moment we arrived down an unmarked road, through the electric gates and up the dirt track driveway surrounded by oak trees, we knew this place was special. The one bedroom house was large enough for the two of us and our daughter who slept on the sofa bed, and full of rustic charm. "I loved our stay at this property!! Wonderful accommodations - both inside the house and outside. We had 3 kids in our group and they enjoyed the outdoor ping pong table and pool. Property is close to grocery stores and easy to get into Cefalu. I would definitely stay here again. The owners were great - friendly and very helpful."

"Abbbbbsolutely go. My best friend and I splurged a bit with this stunning hotel and I honestly, if you can- do it. The property itself is stunning and we went at a busy time of year, but it didn’t feel crowded at all. The staff could not be friendlier, the food was amazing, the private beach is spectacular and everything was just totally spot on. It’s also just a 10 minute taxi right into the city center, or 30 minutes by foot."

Very attentive staff. It was close to the port so we rented a boat for a half day and that was very nice. Overall the best place to stay in Cefalu!"
