「You never quite know what you’re going to get when staying in remote areas, but this property was a gem. It’s tranquil, quiet, and full of wildlife. We booked it specifically to catch a meteor shower, and it did not disappoint. The dark, starry skies were incredible.The property features an easy hiking trail that follows a jeep path. The owner had kindly mowed a path through the tall grass, which stretched for well over a mile. For those who want a bit more adventure, there are shorter, steeper...

「The location of the house is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and the river. Pastries, juice, milk, cereal and coffee for breakfast. That was a nice treat. The sheets on the bed were dreamy! Communication with Ambre, the host was excellent! If you’re looking for the perfect little place in Llano, this is the one!」

「Everything was soectacular! We never expected to need to contact the property manager, but when the coffee msker wasnt working, they were tgere within 10 minutes with another one! Outside of that minor detail (with anazing response time), tge place was perfect! Its about 20 minutes outside of Fredriksburg, but thats what i wanted and the beautiful ranch, extra touches within the space and the countless deer that passed by made for a perfect weekend」

「Most hotels provide Kleenex, napkins in kitchen area, a few k-cups to go with the Keurig coffee maker, chairs, and plenty of lighting. This was supposed to be an expensive high-end cottage, and for the price charged, it was not as comfortable as a medium-priced hotel. It took several tries to get a TV remote, one window was broken, walkway lights were broken, and sofa (only seating area in whole one-room cottage) was too low and too deep to be comfortable. 」

「Hosts were as friendly as can be in order to respect privacy of guests. We got an unanticipated crustless quiche that stretched to a couple of breakfasts. My birthday was on the day of the solar eclipse and Billy insisted on getting me a birthday cake and even went gluten-free for dietary needs. Wildflowers were abundant and beautiful this time of year. Chickens and deer roam the property for entertainment value.」
