It has a long history of accommodating guests and under these new owners has been upgraded to include good wifi and a wonderful restaurant on the main level. “Unheard of for us, but we decided to come back to this hotel after a week holiday last year. Everything about this hotel is superb. Reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning staff. My only gripe is that we asked for a room upgrade (as an Expedia platinum member) but were told that all the higher grade rooms were full. This wasn’t the case as we could clearly see that the suite we had last year was unoccupied for the duration of our stay. ”

“Super nice. Quiet. We stayed two nights. Wanted an additional night, but if was fully booked. I’m not a pool person, but spending some time at the pool side with a book and my girlfriend as the only company was nice. Yet, the pool is small and the area simple. No luxury, other the Mountain View and the quiet. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Kitchen ok. Not top notch. This hotel was still way better than many four and even five stars hotels I’ve stayed at. ”
