This was a great place! The car park was around the back of the building with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the bar restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waiter, John, gave us excellent advice on things to see and do in the area and Trish, one of the managers, went above and beyond with hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very nice staff and extremely comfortable bed. Restaurant on property was excellent. Breakfast was a particular standout on this trip....Best scrambled eggs we've ever had. Everyone from the front desk to the waitstaff in the restaurant and the cleaning staff were polite, kind and courteous.

We stayed 10 days in Ireland, driving around staying in different towns. We wanted to spend a day in Kilkenny and we decided to stay outside the city limits. We were a bit worried that it was too far, but it was worth it. The staff were excellent, the rooms were clean and felt like a traditional modern hotel. The bar and restaurant were good. I would 100% stay here again on my next trip.

Avalon house is a Hidden gem. There's so much to do in the area with the adventure Park in the beautiful walking trails in the forest. The breakfast which was included was amazing. I just thought it was a great place to stay. We even went zip lining nearby and it was very affordable. It was just a treat to stay at the Avalon house. Everything was just right.

This hotel is a jewel!

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is tastefully decorated and well kept. Excellent food at the hotel’s restaurant, outstanding breakfast with plenty of options. Convenient car park, friendly staff. It doesn’t get much better than this

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to

Probably the most beautiful, most tastefully designed hotel I've ever stayed at. It was an unexpected gem, truly lovely hotel, nice staff, a few steps away from the adventure park. Nice breakfast choices, comfortable, beautiful, clean room.
