I went to school in Castlerea many years ago and I enjoyed been back and taking my English family there for a family wedding.


Staff was very helpful and friendly but this is far from a 4 star hotel. Rooms and common spaces are very dated. One of the beds in our room was lopsided from wear and in the bathroom the toilet tissue is in a dispenser like in a public toilet.

Nice clean rooms. Comfy beds. The toilets are communal but there’s lots of them so we never waited for them. It actually speeded us all up getting ready as we had a toilet each in the morning. Such a beautiful cosy home with heated floors and a fire! The surroundings were beautiful, not to mention the friendliest cats ever and two gorgeous ponies. Seán (the host) was so lovely and speaks beautiful Irish too. Would absolutely recommend to anyone from a few friends to a full family trip. ...

Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch, leider etwas abgelegen. Die Schlafzimmer,sind sehr großzügig. Küche,Badezimmer sind neu.

Every member of staff was polite and cheerful and very helpful we could not have asked for anything better will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thank you
