“We loved the pool, the water was cool but you had to go in with the beautiful temperature outside and the lovely views. We spent many hours both day and night enjoying great conversation, views, and wine. Everything about this villa was outstanding, the views, the comfort, the decor. Victor was a fabulous, gracious host. If he makes any recommendations for your stay, they will be amazing, from restaurants, places to visit, tours. “We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately.
There were goats roaming around freely and one had just given birth to their baby just before we arrived! We took a walk down through the woodland via the path right below the site. The……

“Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House)
The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom.
The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming.

“We really enjoyed the serenity of this location right on the Douro River. Once we were shown an easier place to park, we found it more accessible. There is a good grocery store about 15 minutes away, and the freeways are easy to get to from there also. The suite was clean and modern and well appointed. There was good communication. ”
