“I will preface this review with that I went just after Super Typhoon Yagi. The hotel suffered a lot of damage and large parts of the hotel were closed off entirely. I know the resort would've suffered a lot financially because of this, but as a guest I was left a little miffed that I paid full price for part of the experience. I would've been more than happy if the resort recognised a few things were out of order and chucked in a few freebies like a massage or drinks vouchers. After all they had……

“This beautiful little budget resort is nestled in a valley outside of town. No ocean views here, but in exchange you get serenity, a gorgeous garden, and an attentive staff. The food is simple and good, I really enjoyed the seafood fried rice. You can walk to the nearby hospital cave, which I found very interesting, but for other attractions they’ll book you a car or rent you a scooter. “This was the nicest hotel I experienced in Vietnam. It far exceeded what I expected for the price. On a quiet street but 5 mins walk to the main pedestrian sea front area. Good breakfast is a bonus. But above all the staff are so incredibly helpful and friendly. They can help with anything you need. ”
