“Marisa was a very nice lady. The VRBO listing stated she spoke English and she does not. We had a difficult time communicating with her, we used google translate constantly. The listing also stated that there was a hot tub on the property and there is not. Listing stated that linens and towels were provided and she wanted to charge us for towels and linens. We did not pay for these as we showed her the listing. The front door only opens a quarter of the way so we had trouble moving……

“La villa était idéale pour notre groupe de 6 adultes et 6 enfants. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La vue sur l'Etna depuis la terrasse est très belle et il suffit de traverser la route pour accéder à la plage. La maison est assez vieillotte et la salle de bain à l'étage est petite. Les chambres sont assez grandes et les lits confortables. Les enfants n'ont pas profité de la piscine car elle n'était pas opérationnelle. Dommage. Le parking est un plus surtout en période estivale. Hors saison……

The situation was perfect for chilling, Mount Etna behind us and the sea in front. 40 minutes from Catania allowed us to feel the hype and when we didn’t we stayed pool side and enjoyed the view.The house was well presented and the little annex was perfect for overflow of visitors.”

“Een mooi heel ruim huis, met eigen zwembad. Heerlijk vertoeven. Als je eenmaal de weg gevonden hebt prima te bereiken. Advies: huur een SUV achtste auto want het laatste stuk van de weg is ruig. De begeleiding door de eigenaar is prima. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fantastische bedden. Helaas wat sporen van achterstallig onderhoud. Zou beter kunnen. Zoals maar één deckchair bij het zwembad, wat lastig als je met 6-8 mensen bent.”
