“This house is located perfectly in Carcassonne in the city center and close to the fortress. The accomodation is spread over a couple of floors and was relatively cool despite the heat wave (over 40 degrees) in the city, also thanks to the fans provided.Minor drawback: Arriving 15 min after check-in time, the cleaning staff still needed 15 min. “The accommodation was a fully furnished flat in a new block. It was well-equipped and very comfortable. The flats were not serviced but this was not a problem as we only stayed for 3 nights. The building seems to be a 'Seniors' block of flats with a few flats used as holiday lets but don't let that put you off as it is very comfortable and affordable and is just a short 5 to 10 minute slightly uphill walk to the walled town.”
