We didn’t always know why we were eating but we did try everything. The hot bathing tub and outdoor shower were lovely and private. Nice amenities for the room. For US travelers the futon mats could have been a little thicker and the pillows were definitely unusual for us but obviously traditional. Breakfast was again traditional Japanese and everything very fresh. Staff went out of their way to use translation service to help us with our scheduling of transportation.
