I don't take the time to do reviews but pound for pound and dollar for dollar this was the best vacation rental I've ever enjoyed and I've done a lot of them over the years. Everything was nails perfection from the agent communication to the cool cabin but filled with modern amenities including the kitchen and televisions/working wifi. Seriously. And the spot was close to town but private down a gravel driveway removed from the world. I could live there.

Great cabin experience

We enjoyed the cabin very much. It is comfortable, modern, and nicely equipped. Beautiful and peaceful setting. Cave Spring is charming with good restaurants and shops. Good location for a Pinhoti Trail hiker.

Absolutely loved our stay here, the hosts have set the cabin up to feel right at home. We got in later than expected and had some lock issues and were still taken care of with over the top kindness! What a peaceful, beautiful place!

Loved our stay! Easy to find and the instructions were easy to follow. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the quiet time being out in the country. We were surrounded by woods with several deer nearby. Large front porch with a swing and chairs was put to good use. ❤️

This lovely, comfortable cabin was exceptionally well stocked with all the basic necessities down to coffee filters. Everything was very clean and everything worked great. We had no problems. The cabin is set on a lovely wooded property up on a hill with a stunning view. The little town of Cave Spring is very close with short drives to both Cedartown and Rome. It’s a perfect getaway.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We stayed here due to proximity to Indian Mountain ATV Park. The cabin was 20 min to the trails and just as easy a drive to town for dinner/groceries. This cabin is incredible. We loved the old cabin charm on the outside and the fully updated remodel on the inside. There is nothing the owner didn't think of for this remodel, including heated floors in the master bathroom. Having everything labeled made you feel at home immediately since you didn't struggle to find things. Kitchen was very well equipped and it was hands down the cleanest VRBO we have been to in years. We look forward to going back there again!

Wonderful get away. Everything was as pictured. Kitchen was stocked with utensils and starter items like cascade and coffee. The cabin was quiet with daily visits from deer, which our children loved. Bed were comfy, heated bathroom floor upstairs was a plus. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will return.

The cabin is in a private location. No neighbor houses could be seen from windows. Far enough away from local road that auto noise not a problem. Could hear neighbors donkey a few times though. Was able to install my Netflix & PBS apps on smartTV. Would stay there again. Had all the cooking utensils I needed. Upstairs walk in shower was great.

Cave Spring is a little no-name town with one traffic light and a handful of history, restaurants, and antique shops. Head up Mill Road into the mountains and instantly fall head over heels in love with Mother Nature. The cabin sits back off the road, down a long, narrow driveway. Clean as a whistle with all the comforts of home. Knowing we would arrive late in the evening, the lights were turned on for us. Upon entering, our shoulders relaxed, and we knew this was the perfect retreat for us! We have family that lives in the nearby town of Cedartown, a 15-minute drive at most, which ended up being perfect! The birds singing, the sound of the crickets, and the greenery surrounding were a little slice of Heaven! Love the front porch swing! We'll be back for sure! Thanks for the southern hospitality!

Lodging while home being renovated

Due to water damage to our home, we had to move out for a few days while repairs were done. What a Welcome treat to be able to stay at Fieldwood, only a very short distance from our home in beautiful historic Cave Spring. We truly felt that we were on vacation and could still keep an eye on the progress at our home. This cabin is so private, we could have easily been 100s of miles from home in the mountains. The off the road setting and the wooded surroundings were splendid. The beauty of the surroundings and the absolutely beautiful decor inside was truly 5 star. We had everything that we needed to make our stay very comfortable and stress free. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the view from the porch swing. Melissa, the host, was very helpful while working with our Insurance Co and being available whenever we needed her. We highly recommend for your next get-away.

Great cabin

Cabin and property manager were great. Any items missing from the kitchen were quickly dropped off for our use. Lots of land to explore and fire pit was perfect. The town and local spring was super cute. Only complaint was floor and walls allowed allowed noise.

Amazing cabin getaway

The stay at this cabin was for our daughter's wedding, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the "getaway" part of our stay as we were in and out a lot -- mostly out -- doing all the last minute preparations and finalizing of all wedding stuff. However, the times we were in the cabin were peaceful, enjoyable, and it had almost everything one would need for a wonderful getaway. The only thing missing was more cookware, but it was only a minor inconvenience. The property is an amazing, secluded oasis. We had deer visitors every day. The front porch swing was a lovely place to enjoy early morning coffee watching the deer eat and frolic (one morning a juvenile was literally running laps around his family). Trees surrounded the house and long driveway, but gave plenty of room to have a fantastic view of the property. It felt like we were completely by ourselves out in the woods. You can hear the neighbors occasionally but you can't see them. This rental will be added to our list of places to return to, for sure. It was a lovely experience.
