Fabulous hotel
"Hotel Cavtat was in an excellent sea front position near to bars and restaurant, but qiet and relaxing. We were upgraded from apartial sea view to a full sea view. The room was spotless and smelt brand new. The only criticism was that there was no socket for the kettle and we had to unplug the fridge. ..."

Cavtat is exceptionally beautiful. It is relatively quiet, not a party town, and the whole place feels a world away from the ups and downs of life. It is great for nature watching and just pottering around the shops and cafe's. Superb in every way.

Great walks, great swimming, good restaurants. Great views, peaceful. Good bus links to Dubrovnik. Water taxis and boat trips from Cavtat are easy and good value. Some aircraft noise but not a problem for us.

I loved cavtat, it was beautiful with a good selection of restaurants and pretty walks. I also liked that it was not a man made resort for tourists and that locals lived there also...in fact beside the apartment were a few residents with chickens et
