Quiet time with the family on Cedar Island

We had a wonderful stay with 4 teenagers and our dog at the beach cottage. We took a day trip to Ocracoke, which was definitely a highlight. Walks on the beach with the dog were great! The house is quiet with a beautiful beach view. We'd highly recommend it for some quiet time with loved ones.

Immaculate Coastal Cottage

I can highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a stay in Cedar Island. Beautiful water views off the large screened in porch, large loft with private bath and a bedroom with 3 twin beds made this the perfect cottage for our group. Property was very clean and well stocked and the owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We look forward to booking again in the future.

Another great stay

We stayed in this home once before, before kids, and had a great time. So we decided to come back, this time with the kids. Again, we had a great time! The town is very quiet, and with it being warm weather there were jellyfish, but we still had so much fun relaxing on the beach, with convenience of driving on the beach as well. We also enjoyed being able to visit Ocracoke beach with a short ferry ride. The house was clean, I found a lot of stray hairs lol but that’s understandable. It stayed nice and cool, which I forgot to turn up the ac when we left (so sorry!) The outside area could really use bug treatment before guests stay, because there are.. and I cannot annunciate more, TONS of biting flies and mosquitoes. But overall if you are prepared with bug prevention, you will have a great and relaxing stay!!

What a great beach cottage

We Spent the last week of summer before school started back. We had a fantastic time. We spent one day in Beaufort/ Atlantic Beach and took another day to ride the ferry over to Ocracoke (that’s the best return on a single dollar ever!) The house was perfect for 4 children two adults and a dog. We had beautiful nights eating dinner on the porch and enjoying the sunsets, even the sunrises a few mornings . The walks from this location are great and I couldn’t recommend a place more. The amenities were also really convenient. To be able to do the daily laundry with that many children was really handy because we didn’t have to pack as much.

Beach Life

The screened in porch was so comfortable. We watched the lightning cross the ocean. With the hurricane coming towards us we wished we had better cell service or WiFi (which we were informed was on its way sometime soon) so we called our trip a day early. Taking the ferry to Ocracoke and having our kids step into the ocean and live a little beach life was the main goal of our trip and we accomplished this. The house was clean and comfortable.

Cedar Island Beauty

We really enjoyed our stay. Great place to stay at when you are visiting Ocracoke. You can literally walk to the ferry from the house. Great value overall. The house is clean and nice. Comfortable and cozy. Small house but with big views. House is perfect for family of 4. Thanks again. Great job. 😀😎 See you again soon. Oh. The next door neighbors are rude. They leave music playing all day long even when they are not home. If you can’t beat them join them. Play your own music back at them!! The neighbors need to get their music under control. LoL. It really didn’t bother us but we thought it was odd. Like who does that
