“Nice, clean property with very helpful staff. Close to I-94 without much road noise. Culver’s across the street and a several gas stations around the corner. Breakfast was available with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt and fruit”

“People loitering outside was a concern. Needed to get help to open the door.”

“this was more like an Air B&B experience than a hotel experience. Very comfortable beds and bedding, beautiful property, friendly communication with host.”

“The road to get to the lodge was very narrow, and we almost went into a ditch trying to let a maintenance truck go through. The room that we were given was right above the restaurant, and it felt like we were put in an office rather than an actual lodging room. It was away from the other rooms in the lodge, which felt weird. The room did not have a number on the door or beside it, so we had difficulty finding it. The bed was rock hard, and the pillows were very flat. The door to the room came up……

“A pretty interesting stay. Expedia said check in was at 3, but when we arrived, a clearly posted sign said check in was 4. There was no one in the lobby and I had to press a button to ring for them. The man at the counter was nice enough, but he needed to go check to make sure our room was cleaned. We waited close to 10 minutes in the lobby before he returned. There was no A/C in the lobby and there were dehumidifiers running in the halls. When we checked in I was not asked for ID or a credit……

“Keycards stopped working. Halls not vacuumed”

“The property lacked any presentation - just a building and a parking lot. The breakfast was minimal, our room appeared clean, yet the floor felt like it needed swept. Overall, the place was adequate and met our need of an affordable place to sleep.”

“The room was amazing. It was larger than expected, clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed. The staff were amazing. I would highly recommend and will be planning another stay next time we are in the area! Thank you for an awesome experience!”

“Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner.”
