“Hello, Having been to many Relais and Chateau properties through out the glove, my expectations were very high. I think The Cove did a great job overall for being in the Bahamas, however for this category of luxury resort, they fell short in many ways: They did not accomodate for an early check in, there were several power outages, internet and WiFi outages, there were water outages, the onsite water craft for excursions was not as clean as would be expected, there was a red ant infestation in……

“The bungalow was fabulous, with every thing we needed: a comfy bed, nice tub, fridge, mini bar, beach towels, and ocean view. Staff were courteous and went above and beyond to meet our needs and wants. We were able to get an early check in and a late check out. Everything was wonderful.”

“We spent just a couple of days in Eleuthera and fell in love. This cottage was a wonderful home base. Clean, comfortable, great AC, kitchen, a quick walk to the shore line that was loaded with conch shells. We rented a car and explored on our own, which I highly recommend as there are so many places to see. The island had a couple of black-outs while we were there, but they didn't last long. If you want pampered resort style travel, try another island. Eleuthera is for adventure and raw……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved the modern touches,and the house was super clean with a super comfy bed! Storage was quite limited but they maximized the absolute best they could with the small space. Chris was the best host we’ve ever experienced. He was super responsive with all of our questions and he’s just a wonderful person! The beach is beautiful! It is a 10 min walk, but my husband and I walk a lot so that was no issue for us! We could walk miles on the beach and see no one! As……

“The Cove house was great. It has absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly need. While not on a sandy beach.. it is a great water view. My husband loved interacting with the guys on the pier with their daily catch of conch. Walking distance to restaurants and just a great home base. Central location. Many attractions and beaches near by. Would definitely stay again. Hosts Harry & Donna live on sight and were there for any questions which was great!! ”

“The good: - The location in the middle of the island is ideal. The surrounding beaches are spectacular. However, access to the nearest beach requires walking through another property across the street. - There were plenty of towels and lots of beach gear provided.- The kitchenette was great for prepping small meals and snacks for the toddler in our group.- The owner was very responsive. “This was a tidy, comfortable, convenient place to stay during our trip. The house was very clean when we arrived. The internet worked well, the water pressure was good considering water comes from an above-ground tank. The shower was nice & warm. The kitchen was well equipped for 2 people. As a bonus, it was surprisingly easy to log into our Netflix account. The driveway is steep, as the host describes, but we didn't have any trouble navigating it in our small SUV.”
