“This unit was perfect for my stay in Alexandria. I was visiting my Dad in the hospital nearby and this unit had everything I needed. It rained while I was there and that made this unit a bright spot to land each day. The washer/dryer were perfect for the small loads I needed during my stay. I am very pleased and will stay here again.”

“I traveled with my spouse and 2 kids for a 4H competition in the area and came across this gem. The house and property are beautiful as is the art work throughout. Mr. Wilburn was an awesome host. After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. I will definitely be staying again the next time we find ourselves in the area.”

“Older property a bit run down. Biggest problem is the smell when opening the front door. Couch has stains and perhaps is part of the smell reason. King bed was good. Remote for bedroom is broken without batteries. Quiet area and very convenient for downtown Alexandria.”

“The carbon monoxide and smoke detector info kept an alarm beeping constantly. We asked to have it checked in the morning. There was no response until the evening. By then we got separate hotel arrangements. There was no follow up to us that service had been done. We checked the next day. The alarm kept beeping because the smoke alarm was removed. We had given up by then. This experience resulted in the cost of additional accommodations.”

“It was clean. Beds were hard uncomfortable. Living room furniture was uncomfortable springs at surface. I understand people tear up stuff so much no need for good furniture. Could put foam mattresses on beds to help ”
