Great Budget Stay

The Mindemoya Motel is a reliable place with friendly owners and clean rooms. We’ve stayed several times when visiting family, it’s convenient to all attractions on the island and the owners are lovely.

Owners are friendly and great, always ready to help with anything. This hotel is greatly situated for various activities. The accommodations aren’t the best but it’s clean. Wifi internet is non existent, supposed to have Starlink shortly

motel was being renovated and materials laying out side. My unit was complete and super new. I thought the stay o/n was over charged as other stays at other motels that we used where $20 to $50 cheaper for the similar facilities. Other than the costs it was good

The room was clean. It was extremely small and there wasn’t a place to hang your coat or clothes. The bathroom had no counter space for toiletries. It made for an uncomfortable stay.

At least the room did not smell musty.

Some upgrades were done in the room and bathroom. No bedside lamp. The mattress had a vinyl projector which made any shifting in bed very loud. Very thin walls. Luckily the people next door went to bed early. Front office is a mess. Not very welcoming.

Not very organized

The owners seemd a little confused, even though i had already booked agead of time. He said they would give me an a different bigger room because the tv in my original room was not working. He then went into the room he was giving me, exchanged tv's. The room had two beds, but only was made up, the other only had a mattress cover. We were given 1 face cloth, 1 hand towel, 4 shampoos. I think the owners are doing the best they can, but it's not great.

The property is very old with some updates but still smells like a very old place. No operating bathroom fans and very small room. With all that was in the room it was very crowded. We had to plug in the fridge so it took along time to cool down. Knowing the room was booked this should have been thought of prior to us showing up.
