“It is on a quiet street and parking is abundant. BUT make sure you enter the location as Boston and not just street address. I ended up 30 minutes across town standing in front of a restaurant with the same address in Cambridge. An older home, I was not prepared for steep stairs and a door without clearance to put down bags,etc so I had to balance on a tiny step while opening my flashlight and email for code to unlock the door. A/C was not on so nights were a bit uncomfortable. I booked through……

“The mini fridge wasn’t deep cleaned and the room could use an airing out between guests. There’s a bit of a musty smell. All the bedroom & bathroom windows open and, once aired, the smell goes away. But the bedrooms & bathroom were very clean. Beautiful bedding, drapery, & furniture. The largest 2-room suite I’ve seen. A entrance/sitting room with desk & end chair. Small bedroom with a twin bed, main bedroom was spacious and an efficiency kitchen complete with small stove, full sized microwave,……

“I felt very welcome! I had a pretty rough journey into Springfield, but they started my trip off on the right note. I felt like I got real hospitality, and they were very helpful in terms of helping me orient to the town and figure out where things are. The room was even more spacious than I thought, I thought I got a room for one but it could have effectively housed a small family. Breakfast was great! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone traveling through Springfield.”

“Nice place to live (self catering type) but a slop hill of about 25m to walk through if on foot. With 7 day pass, it is easy to travel to Boston city about 40mins. Nearby, get restaurants and 7-11. It is a good place (cost effective) to stay for my Boston marathon and walk around Boston. ”
