「Everything was just as described. We were in town for an event, and Becky at the Front Desk offered to get us on the available shuttle. The breakfast was grab-n-go, which was just fine as we had to scoot early. The room was extremely clean, the AC worked perfectly, the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated that the establishment requested quiet after 10 p.m. The only challenge was no channel guide. If that's the only complaint, we would say that's a tiny, non-existent...

「Perfect location. We could Walk the Katy trail to the farmers market and restaurants. The hotel bar was quaint and had wonderful crafted drinks. The dining room and food were fresh and delicious. Our room overlooked the river , but was somewhat noisy due to the cooling system located above us on the roof. Overall this hotel was nostalgic and a delight to stay at.」

「This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible. The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return.」

「We were passing thru and needed somewhere to stay for the night. It had a funny smell, the kind that clings to your clothes. I did not have the breakfast, my husband did. It was just okay, nothing to get excited about. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night, this is your place. I would not stay more than one night.」

「Check in time was 4pm. Asked several times if room was ready. Finally at 445 got in room. Stayed in dog friendly room. Room was nice but floor had dog hair from previous pet. Our yorkie doesn't shed, so hair was not hers. Mentioned to front desk so we wouldn't be charged for extra cleaning. Overall nice, clean hotel and casino. Nice restaurant.」

「Our stay was not great. The hotel and room both smelled like dog, the room was not especially clean, and we had ants in our room. The bathroom door frame was loose and made a very loud noise every time the door opened. Breakfast was also sub-par. The biggest concern was that staff told someone else what room we were staying in. Even though it was someone we knew, that felt like a real breach of privacy and trust. There were some positives: the room had a Keurig and fridge, the waffle maker was...
