"The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is so lovely with all the palm trees. Nice pool bar and seating. We stayed in one of the historic rooms. It was large and beautiful with old tiles. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. Staff were good. "

"Found a roach in our room within about 5 minutes of being thetr. Immediately went to the front desk to get a refund on the room wirh the dead roach in hand and even have a photo of said roach as well. The front desk person seemed apologetic but said we had to call expedia for the refund. I was not in the mood to play games so we simply checked out about 10 minutes after being there at that point. We then went to the Radisson in Barranquilla, which is a fantastic hotel and I definitely recommend sraying there. I will wait for the snarky manager comment on this one. But my Girlfriend is colombian and said there was absolutely no point in trying to get my money back because the hotel would make an excuse or lean on some policy in order to not refund me. I'll wait."
