“This is a beautiful colonial style hotel with great traditional details. Every corner has a nostalgic feel of the old Ecuador. The staff is friendly and helpful. Delicious and well balanced breakfast with a rooftop view of Santo Domingo church. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel because from the outside door it does not reflect the beauty it holds. Highly recommended this place!”

“El hotel es hermoso y muy bien ubicado. Lo único que mejoraría es que algunos cuartos pese a tener muy buen tamaño, tienen baños muy reducidos y sin ventana o flujo de aire. También creo que el desayuno podría ser más abundante. Pero si lo recomiendo!”

“The hotel was great for what we needed for a night and the price was very affordable. Staff were very nice and happily switched us to an inside facing room to avoid the traffic noise below. It’s an older style hotel located just two blocks from the main area so super easy to walk to all of the activities.”

I got a bad headache, therefore I requested to change my room. The gentleman who worked at night was very friendly and helpful. I got an upgraded room for the same price.
The lady who worked during the day (Karla) was very friendly and helped us referring good restaurants near the hotel and things to do in Quito.”

“Hotel was like a jig saw puzzle with lots of stairways and areas. Still had construction going on. Rooms were very nice but no privacy unless you close your curtains. Room safes did not work in either of our rooms. You cannot flush toilet paper due to old pipes. Area did not feel very safe but we did not need to leave the hotel without a guide since the dining in the hotel was great. Overall I would recommend this hotel. ”
