Central Cernobbio with lake and mountain views
Enjoy the benefits of a central, walkable location with peaceful views of the lake and mountains. Just steps from the promenade, lakefront, a hidden beach, ferry and bus stops, and important villas, this unique location offers both convenience and serenity. Newly renovated and air-conditioned, Ca' Grappa occupies the entire top floor of a historic building, providing a comfortable base for your Lake Como holiday. There is free street parking and courtyard parking at the property.
The space

This is a historic, listed property where the original floor plan has been preserved. You can refer to it in the "additional photos" section.
Bedroom 1:
Two single beds (can be combined as a double), plus an additional single bed.
Bedroom 2:
160x200 cm bed and dedicated workspace.
Bedroom 3 / Living Room:
There is a smart TV with streaming apps, along with two modular triple sofas that can also be combined into a large lounging sofa for film nights.
If requested as a bedroom, the sofa beds can be set up separately or together as one king bed. To help you make the most of the space during the day, the sofa beds will be arranged as sofas on arrival; bedding is provided so you can easily convert them into beds at night.
Kitchen:
Upon arrival, you’ll find fresh water and a complimentary local treat to enjoy. There is an extendible dining table which for larger groups, you may wish to move to the living room.
A complete set of cooking utensils and crockery is provided, along with a kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. Basic cooking ingredients are supplied.
Bathroom 1:
Features an extra-large walk-in shower and a mountain view.
Bathroom 2:
Located just outside the main door, down a few steps, but within the private area of the property. Features a flexible hose shower and a small window.
Balcony:
The balcony offers lake and mountain views, it runs the length of the south side of the property. Equipped with a small table for breakfasts and aperitifs, sunshades, evening lighting, and a power supply.
Laundry Room:
A small room just off the kitchen with a full-size fridge and washing machine. Equipment for washing, drying, and ironing clothes is supplied.
Views:
Enjoy panoramic views of the lake, town, and surrounding mountains. Notable sights include the Volta lighthouse atop Brunate, the illuminated cross above Como, churches, and the town centre.
On summer nights, fireworks from Villa Erba, Villa d’Este, and the main square are often visible from the property.
Guest access
In compliance with Italian law, you will be required to share identity details for all guests before checking in.

Getting around:
- 5-minute walk from the ferry stop “Cernobbio”
- 5-minute car ride to Como
- 2-minute walk to the lakefront
- 3-minute drive from the motorway exit “Tavernola”
- 30-minute walk along the lakefront to Como, Villa Olmo
- 40-minute walk along the lakefront to the Como football stadium “Sinigaglia”

In compliance with Italian law, you will be required to share identity details for all guests before checking in.
Parking and vehicle access:
There is free parking on the residential streets in front of the property. Additionally, there is a parking space in the small courtyard beneath the property. Please note that, as with many historic Italian villages, the surrounding streets are narrow.
Pets:
Pets are welcome as a part of the family! We ask you to please take care and respect the flat and do not let animals on the beds or sofas. There is an additional charge per stay for pets to cover extra cleaning costs.
Building access:
Please be aware that the apartment is on the second floor with no elevator.
Cyclists:
If you’re travelling with bikes, storage is available in the private hallway or can be made available in the private cellar on request. Please let us know in advance.
Video surveillance:
Please be aware that, for security purposes, a video camera is present outside of the entrance. There are no cameras inside the home itself.
