"This is a plesant hotel in the old city with many options for food & drinks although not alwayas open (in May) when needed. The main problem was getting in: although a pleasant reception exists, when we arrived, no-one was there just a message on the door with spanish phone numbeerst to call, but without the international code. We were rescued by a fellow guest who was able to call the number and get instructions, but it was pretty frustrating. After that all was well."

"Dona Ines and her son Jesus are warm, welcoming and really good at hospitality. The house is in a tiny town surrounded by beautiful fields and short walk to a cool overlook where I was able to take stunning pictures of the sunset. I arrived after a 33Km walk from Sahagun and was grateful to find such generous people. Dinner was delicious and plentiful and the wine Jesus recommended was excellent. "This is a small, family run, boutique hotel in a little village just off the main motorway. Everywhere was spotless and the staff were very helpful. We checked in through an intercom at the main entrance which was unexpected but worked well. Dinner was served in the breakfast/dining area with limited options but it was freshly cooked to order and very good. There were also hot and cold options for breakfast and again, it was all cooked to order. Our dogs were very welcome too. We will definitely return if we are in this area again. "
