Absolutely beautiful hotel, rooms spacious and delightfully decorated. Everything perfect! (Except that the bar tender needs to learn to make a cappuccino from the professional barista machine they have 😜)

The stuff was great and the hotel is in a middle of a forest which is nice. Breakfast is good too. There are several problems: no water pressure and also the water are very hot or cold. Was really unpleasant to have a shower. The room was not clean (dirty floor) and after I complained must say it didn’t change much. There is no normal sidewalk between the buildings and therefore the mud is everywhere. The design and furniture feel ikea’s cheap. Considering also the high price - I do not think I worth a visit.

Great Hotel. Nothing else needs to be said.

Great Hotel on the outskirts of Cesis, within the Gauja national park. The staff all speak perfect English so there is no issue for those of us who do not speak Latvian. Checking in was simple and the staff were able to answer all of my questions and recommend places to go for a walk. The Hotel is newly refurbished and to a very high standard. The room I had was very well equipped and had plenty of room. I was worried that it my be cold but the heating works very well and kept the room at the perfect temperature for me. As an added bonus, the floor in the bathroom is heated and has it's own thermostat. The room furnishings were all very good. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the sofa. The bathroom, was well thought out with an excellent shower and plenty of towels. Wi-Fi was a little sketchy in my room but there is a facility to link to the router connecting the TV rather than the general signal in the Hotel. Using this facility I had a fast, strong signal throughout my stay. The Restaurant is excellent and the food I has was absolutely delicious and not at all expensive.
