「Sue, our hostess was very welcoming and helpful. She has great knowledge of the surrounding area as we wanted to go walking and even emailed with an extra details. The guest to guest book was good giving information on successful trips by them. 「We had a wonderful stay at Wentworth Cottage. The house is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and had everything we needed. The cottage is in a peaceful location, with lovely walks directly from the property and an excellent local pub nearby where we enjoyed a very good meal. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!」

「Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. 「At check in I asked for walks in the area from the accommodation and the lady said she didn’t know. I would expect the customer services dept to be able to provide that information. I would also expect to be taken to the room rather than pointed in the right direction. Room good as expected for price - disappointing no mirror in bedroom and not good ventilation in bathroom. Milk not provided for tea in room. Restaurant on a sunny Saturday afternoon- plates and glasses weren’t cleared away which...
