"My family has immensely enjoyed numerous stays at the Orient, particularly celebrating the holiday of Succot here this year and for the past four years. Located in the lovely and quiet German Colony, the Orient hotel offers a wonderful all-around experience. Its’s rooftop with a 360 degree view of Jerusalem and the walls of the Old City has an infinity pool and a fabulous meat restaurant and is reason enough to choose to stay here. However, most notable at the Orient is the first-rate culinary experience. Executive Chef Ahmad Salameh ensures that superb food and an ample array of delicacies is consistently provided at each meal, especially on Shabbat and holidays. The restaurant’s managerial staff led by Whaleed, Alian, Gazaleh, and Hirbawi warmly welcomes guests and is above and beyond expectations. Additionally, the reception and concierge staff also make a stay at the Orient exceptional. I highly recommend staying at the Orient! "

"Beautiful Guest House and the rooms are comfortable and very clean. I liked tgat there was daily service for the rooms! The gardens outside are beautiful for relaxing and reading. The guest house is in a safe location, very quiet and within an easy walking distance to the Old City (5 minutes) Salah al Din, Mamilla, and Jaffo street (15-20 minutes). "
