"Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. Host’s really nice and friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back."

"We had a wonderful stay as a group of friends. We loved the farm feel and picking and snacking on sweet apples and walnuts. The pool was well used and host very helpful despite the language barrier. All in all a lovely stay!"

"We had a wonderful autumn holiday in this villa. Mahil received us very kindly and the house was fully equipped. (Towels, bed linen,, hairdryer, dishwasher tablets etc). The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable and a good shower in the bathroom. There was plenty of things to keep you entertain in the garden too. (Table tennis, pool, swing, and a lovely swimming pool. Tourist activities are close by. We enjoyed visiting the Dordogne and the beautiful caves and castles. Thank you...

"Very well equipped property - great to have good sharp knives and a huge supply of pans, crockery etc, but we were rather surprised to be charged for linen when the listing does not mention this. The pool is absolutely lovely particularly with the resident frogs, but the alarm did sound a few times for no apparent reason (including 5 am in the morning once). "Stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment- part of a classic French property with a garden and private pool. Although secluded the property is less than 10 minutes drive to Brantome with its many good restaurants and market. Some fine walks in the local area as well. Our hosts, Sandra and Alun, were very helpful about places to visit and great company over a glass or two of wine. We cannot recommend this property or location highly enough."
