“Had a wonderful stay! Was there to ride the train with my siblings and their families. The home fit our needs perfectly. The only problem we had was the oven did not work. There was a toaster oven, but it was too small for the items we brought. We made it work! Would definitely stay again. ”

“My husband took 3 family members for an elk hunt in Chama area. The home was perfect, availability and convenience for the hunt was exceptional! They had the conveniences of home…and truly appreciated the downstairs area DID NOT have televisions! They were able to visit throughout the 5 days uninterrupted by a TV! “The caboose was lovely, cozy and comfortable. There is a street light on the adjacent corner to the caboose which reflects light into the downstairs bedroom. It’s very bright in the bedroom at night which did affect sleep. A blackout shade perhaps? Otherwise we loved our stay!”

“This place is so cute and set up with everything you need to be comfortable. We spent time at the river (7 min walk from property), Herron Lake and El Vado Reservoir. We didn’t catch any fish, unfortunately, but everywhere we went was really beautiful. Abby is an amazing host, super helpful, kind and accommodating. ”

“Enjoyed staying at the Buffalo Run cabin. Access to Chama and the Cumbres train depot is less than 10 minutes. Clean. Saw several deer around the cabin area in early mornings. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need. General things like salt, pepper spices and pan spray ,/ olive oil were available for use. The host allowed us to stay an extra day added on to our original dates. Host was very responsive to any text or calls we made for things we may have wanted to know. ……

“Beautiful little house, It was very clean and updated. I loved the large yard for our puppy. Beds were clean and comfortable, it was very nice that there was a laundry room with laundry soap. “This place was absolutely incredible for our anniversary getaway. The views were top notch as was the home. It blew us away with all of the amenities and how serene the property was. Eveything was so organized and labeled! They truly are superhosts. Even our pups thoroughly enjoyed the space. The place was a little further out from town than we originally thought, but honestly, the 20 min drive to town is ao peaceful and became one of our favorite parts of the day.
