The air conditioning was very loud but functional. Rooms are dated but clean. We loved the location as it's right on the Missouri River. The staff was really nice and we enjoyed our stay.

When I approached the motel I was apprehensive, looks run down, some dogs were barking behind the counter, but the guy working there was very kind and helpful! The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The best part was the riverview at sunset! Outstanding!

A Bridge View Inn is a quiet, affordable stay right along the Missouri River in Chamberlain, South Dakota. The price is right, the rooms are simple and comfortable (albeit a bit dated), and the staff are so kind and helpful. We slept deeply and interrupted, waking to the yawning sunrise and the sound of the waves lapping the shore. Sometimes, the simple things are the best parts of life.

Should have known something was up with a for sale sign on the building. The first room was super small and cramped. The second room was a little bigger but very outdated. I decided we would stay because of the time. Realized after the room has no heat. Shower was very tricky to operate. The general age and appearance of the buildings should have tipped us off. Don't let a nice picture of a sunset fool you. Keep looking.

Room was 62° when booked, and would not get past 67 after 13 hours. Sheets were stained, fire alarm hanging from ceiling, mold in unventilated bathroom. We would not have booked this place despite the price if we had known any of it upon arriving.
