Near the center, quiet, with many interesting shops, restaurants, wine bars, and restaurants nearby. The restaurant on premises is excellent, romantic and charming. Very nice professionals operate this lovely hotel.

A real gem!!

This Hotel went FAR beyond expectations- The sauna /spa is extraordinary- a real treat. If you’re driving into the hotel make sure you follow the entrance instructions. The restaurant and bar are “petite” and positively delightful. Can we give a 6th star????

Perfect charm & comfort

We were only there for 1 night. The reception fr the staff was excellent, they were friendly and very helpful. We absolutely loved the property which retained all the charm of the old building from the past while providing modern comfort. Our room for gorgeous. We will definitely stay again

Excellence in Chambery

This is the most amazing, owner operated, boutique hotel in the quaint town of Chambery. The owner is on site answering questions, reserving spa and pool time suggesting things to do. A charming spot with on site restaurant/bar. We wanted an experience of being in a small French town after a week in Paris and the Petit hotel Confidentiel was everything you could hope for and more.

A real gem in the old town of Chambery and one of the most special places that we have stayed at! Modern and unique rooms designed with great taste and attention to detail. The owners were extremely attentive and helped us with every aspect of our stay including guidance to the local dining and activities. The hotel has a small fine dining restaurant where we had a great dinner one evening. There is also a bar with nice selection of wine and spirits and some snacks which is open until midnight. Pretty much everything of interest in Chambery is withinin 10 minutes walk of the hotel. Plenty of small boutiques, bars and restaurants.There are also a few small museums that are worth exploring. Also on Saturdays one can visit the huge farmer's market. One note - call or email the hotel for detailed directions once you are in town. It is a bit complicated if you are arriving by car and Google maps won't take you to the right spot. Overall we can't recommend this unique small hotel highly enough, we had an exceptional stay!
